I just got a new laptop a 180 gigs memory built in graphics card! I hear those are the best. 1 gig of ram, but css just doesn't want to work right! I know its not my awesome new system maybe i installed it wrong? (this is all sarcasm btw for all you slower people)

idk man, i think ur hard drive might be too big for cs:s
try getting a 2gb hard drive and then see how it runs

Try this, r_3dsky 0 in console. It disables the palm trees and anything in the sky. It gives a 10-30 FPS boost. Depending on your motherboard or hard drive.
